Glimpse on Mantra’s secrecy

Mantra is a group of sounds and it has four parts (kriyas) in it – thinking over, science, study and feeling. When these four parts unite chanting some words, it gives off a kind of energy and that is called Mantra Shakti (Mantra strength). When we chant a mantra, we are supposed to pronounce it by heart (mann), not by mouth. We need to form a picture of the Guru or gods who you are praying for in our mind and have to pronounce it by heart in a perfect harmony with a strong feeling and then, it flows energy in your mind helping you understand more.

The strength of sounds that comes off when you do chanting in a perfect harmony is a kind of abstract; can’t be seen by our naked eyes but it is very powerful than you have ever imagined that it would be. There was a scientific experiment done on a group of 120 soldiers doing parade in a perfect harmony. It’s been proved that if they crossed the 50 ft bridge doing parade in a perfect harmony, there would be 70% more chances of collapsing the bridge and the energy it would give is almost 240 kilo dynamite. This is the reason those trains crossing the bridge reduce their speeds to control the noise coming off.

Few years back, there was an experiment done in New Jersey on cows. Two groups of cows were kept in separate places and one of them was played with high speed music and another was played nice, melodious and soft music for 10 days and the result was like the one with high speed music has provided 25% less milk and another has provided 10-25% more milk.

In Bishwamitra Sanhita,

वहीं मुखस्य मंत्रस्य [त्तयोया प्रकीर्तित
तएदान्तर्मुखस्य शक्तिय: परि कीर्तित  :

(The thoughts become introvert in the form of mantra and become the strength of Sadhak).

Chanting mantra is an inner process itself and that is why it gives inner purity and that in turn helps to keep your body and soul, as a whole, pure and divine.

In Sharada Tilak,

देवस्य मंत्र रूपस्य समाप्ति जानताम l
[ताचनदिक सर्व व्यर्थ भवति शम्भावी ll

(Mantra is the real form of god).
Whoever chants mantras without having known the real meaning of the mantras would end up with empty hands. S/he fails to get success.

Every one next to you might have different thinking or say, might have different capacities of receiving things or might have better at doing something else than the things you have been doing. So it would be more effective to have more compatible mantras and these things like knowing which one is better for me is beyond our capabilities and that is where you are going to need Sadgurudev because s/he knows better about you than anybody else.

P.B. Gurudev Mahamaya Ma Yogshyama ki jaya!
